Children’s Memorial Hospital   Accepting a Position of Leadership   Children’s is one of the three premier hospitals for children in the United States. Like any superior organization, it got that way because it does things differently. The patient-physician-parent triangle represents the unique circumstance that occurs when the patient is a child. The trademark and naming scenario focused on symbolizing the nurturing and critical relationship between parent and child. The trademark is a simplification of what is for many a first gift from child to parent, acknowledging a moment in time, a need for support and a commitment to caring.
