erwin / An American Cafe and Bar   Real Food for Real People   Most of the time, simpler is better. In the case of erwin, it’s perfect. Instead of removing the six-foot-high wood paneling encircling the dining room during the renovation, it was painted warm green. The paneling looks like a fence below a four-foot wrap-around mural of houses, buildings and trees in the surrounding neighborhood, including lights from the ballpark a few blocks away.
